Punch is a strong New Zealand coming-of-age drama about a young boxer whose relationship with an openly gay outsider complicates his future and his bond with his father. Jordan Oosterhof and Conan Hayes bring sensitivity to the central relationship, while Welby Ings gives the rural setting real texture.
