Alfred, a struggling freelance journalist, inherits his late father's remote home and befriends Frederik, a young man torn between his faith and his sexuality. Hoping to expose the community's use of conversion therapy, Alfred embeds himself among its members, but as his bond with Frederik deepens, the line between ambition and emotion begins to blur.
