Sauna Day makes masculinity feel almost architectural: hard surfaces, trapped heat and bodies placed side by side without much language for what passes between them. Anna Hints and Tushar Prakash build the short film around an Estonian smoke sauna where physical ritual says more than conversation. Ants Tammik’s photography is extraordinary, turning sweat, steam and skin into something both earthy and charged with homoerotic tension.
