Lawrence Shaw struggles to fit into any world. At work, he sells macho advertising campaigns to beer companies but feels too different to belong, while his boyfriend thinks he does not fit the image of what being gay should be. After the death of his father Elijah, Lawrence is forced into a road trip with his deeply homophobic half brother Kevin to scatter his ashes. What begins as a painful journey becomes an unexpected story of family, acceptance and learning to embrace yourself.
