Flamingo Pride has a joke so simple it should wear thin: one straight flamingo surrounded by an extravagantly gay flock. Tomer Eshed’s animated short film survives the premise by pushing it into a broader satire of conformity, self-image and the desperation to prove you are different from everybody else. The visual gags are shameless, but the animation is sharp enough to keep the silliness moving.
