After 35 years, an author returns to his hometown of Cognac to promote a distillery and confront memories of his first love. Revisiting familiar people and places stirs deep emotions from his past.
I enjoyed the flashback scenes with the two teen boys and their love affair. The present-day scenes were okay and IMHO not really essential to the story I guess. A beautifully made French film with a tragic threat sewn in.
