The Broadcast Tapes of Dr. Peter is deeply moving because it lets Dr. Peter Jepson-Young document his own life with AIDS in his own words. The television origins occasionally limit how intimately we know him, but his intelligence, humour and extraordinary openness make the documentary both historically valuable and profoundly human.
