Shabbat Dinner is a warm gay short film about two teenage boys unexpectedly finding connection during a family dinner. Michael Morgenstern uses the domestic setting beautifully, allowing cultural expectation, curiosity and first attraction to unfold without unnecessary drama. The chemistry between the boys gives the film a gentle and very natural sweetness.
