Dirty Skin is a thoughtful Brazilian gay short film about a Black teenager whose friendship with a white football teammate changes after he reveals feelings that can no longer stay hidden. Bruno Ribeiro keeps the story physically grounded in sport, bodies and everyday intimacy, giving the coming-of-age tension a natural quality. Its strongest moments come from the vulnerability beneath familiar masculine rituals.
